A press statement issued by the Zanzibar Information Department on Sunday said that Ubwa Mamboya has been appointed as the Minister for Agriculture and Natural Resources the position that was left vacant by former Minister, Suleiman Othman Nyanga.
Dr Shein also appointed Juma Duni Haji to preside over the Infrastructure and Communication Ministry a position previously held by Dr Rashid Seif Suleiman who is now the Minister for Health and Social Welfare.
The President appointed Mahmud Thabit Kombo as the Deputy Minister for Health and Social Welfare. Kombo fills the position that was left by Dr Sira Ubwa Mamboya, Minister for Agriculture and Natural Resources.
Meanwhile, Retired Major Juma Kassim Tindwa has been appointed as the North Unguja Regional Commissioner, a position left vacant by former Regional Commissioner, Pembe Juma Khamis.
Smith Abdulla Majid has been appointed as South Pemba Regional Commissioner taking over from Retired Major, Juma Kassim Tindwa who has been moved to Zanzibar North region. Omar Othman Khamis has been appointed Northern Pemba Regional Commissioner replacing former Regional Commissioner Dadi Faki Dadi.
